Jeremiah 8
9 The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?
Isaiah 29
9 ¶ Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
10 For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.
11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
Luke 10
21 ¶ In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father,
Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent,
and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
Only vs. saying "Jesus rejoiced".

In these latter days it is becoming increasingly difficult to find a KJV Bible that has not been altered by presumptuous editors; first it was the removal of the paragraph markers. Various words have been changed to more modern spelling. The changes are too numerous to list. Whatever their reasoning, it is certain these changes were not made by people who "tremble at the Words of God". II Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
I have used older KJV Bibles and replicas to search out the changes and omissions and to restore what has been removed. Any deviation whatsoever from the Blessed Book is unintentional.
For those who feel duty bound to point out that I have "probably never seen a real AV-1611", you are somewhat correct. My pre-AV1611 Bibles as well as my AV-1611 (hover) are replicas. The more I read my KJV and the more I examine it's predecessors the more humbled I am regarding the Mighty Hand of God in preserving His Glorious Words.
In the context of personal application, consider this:
I John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
• All scripture quotes and all doctrinal stances are from the King James Version of 1611, which I revere as the words of God, preserved as we should have it in the English language. We should quote it, print it, and hold it fast. John 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life..
• The phrase "Sola Scriptura" is used liberally throughout
the site. The essence of this Latin Phrase is "Scripture Alone". It has been the guiding paradigm
throughout the design and implementation of this site. Only the Scriptures are "The final authority in all
matters of faith and practice".
Psalm 12
6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
John 6
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
I Corinthians 2
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Amos 8
11 ¶ Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
