Isaiah 28

9 ¶ Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

Jeremiah 8

9 The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?

John 8

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

Psalms 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

Between the blue bars below is the title page as it appears in many of the older KJV Bibles in my library. It is included here on the site since I feel it would be a presumptuous omission not to have it here.

The letter case of the words and the size of the fonts are replicated as nearly as possible, although the constraints of browser rendering will not present it exactly the same from one environment to another.

The title page is, of course, not part of the canon and varies slightly in appearance from one edition to another. I have duplicated the text in the most representative format of which I am capable, including the dash on "DILI" of "DILIGENTLY".

Jeremiah 26

2 Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD'S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:

3 If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.

Matthew 13

44 ¶ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

45 ¶ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:

46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
