Isaiah 28
9 ¶ Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
I am sure some are wondering why I have created this site. It's really quite simple. Most of the "Bible Sites" have lots of other versions available and, in point of fact, usually default to one of the modern "versions".
Now if you are a KJV only man, as I am, you would have a problem with this. On this site you will not be presented with those options. If you want to read the words of God click the "Bible Text" button (top left), and welcome!
Secondly, just in case you have not noticed, the various social media sites such a facebook and others like it are getting more prejudiced against Christian content all the time. The day is probably not too far off when they will ban any spiritual content that is fit to read. Here, at least for now, I can say whatever I want.
I am responsible for all that you see here. If you have a problem with it you If you do not have a Bible that you can believe, treasure, and guide your life by: try the real Bible can contact me, but don't expect me to abandon my position that the Authorized KJV is, in point of fact, the very Word of God, preserved exactly as we are to have it. I need no other Bible and I do not acknowledge the other [new age] so called "versions" as authoritative. They are nothing more or less than a poisoning of the water of life at it's sacred source and the average Christian does not know where the poison is.
Most professing Christians have given no consideration to the controlling principles of their opinions and beliefs. Please consider this fact for just a moment: when you posit that a large set of conflicting manuscripts and their derivative English translations are all authoritative (and conflicts do exist), Psalm 12:6-7 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. you become the final judge of what the "preferred" (correct) readings are.
The sheer magnitude of the size of your basis sets makes arriving at a divinely inspired set of laws governing human behaviour an unreachable goal.
Consider two phrases for a moment: "II Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." and "Isaiah 66:2 ...,saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. "
Is it reasonable, or even conceivable, that a Christian who sits in judgement of a multitude of "versions" is trembling at the words of God? It seems much more likely that such modernistic Christians are worshipping at the altar of their own opinions. I choose to believe II Peter 1:21 (For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.)
I assure you that the God who scrambled the languages at the tower of Babel understands idioms and is able to keep His promise to preserve His Word "from this generation, even forever". Many are running to and fro and knowledge is increasing, but mankind is not getting smarter (Daniel 12:4).
I may as well add that I have been studying the KJV for many years and the more I read it, the more I see. If you have read my testimony, you know that I approached this issue with an open mind.
In closing, let me add that I most emphatically do not agree with the quips I hear from time to time such as: the KJV is harder to read, the KJV is harder to memorize, the KJV is out of date, etc;. None of this has proven true in my experience and I was blessed to study God's words for a long time without being exposed to such nonsense.
II Peter 2
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
