Isaiah 9
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Revelation 1
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Dueteronomy 18
15 ¶ The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
Matthew 16
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
John 14
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Revelation 19
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
I used to think I had heard it all when it comes to blaspheming the
name of Jesus. Now I realize that new cults and brazen infidels are
spawned every day. Very few reprobates will deny the historical
reality of Jesus because there is just too much evidence. Instead
they resort to "denying the power" of our Lord and Saviour, saying
that "he was only a teacher, certainly not God", and that
"the virgin birth is a myth" and even repeating the rumor
that He did not come back from the dead, but that his disciples came
and stole Him away by night (see Matthew 28:12,13).
John 8:24
I said therefore unto you, that ye
shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye
shall die in your sins.
One of the more repulsive movements, although not new at all uses the Word of God deceitfully to change His fundamental identity. I have now heard a variety of such perversions with each camp trying to mold the Lord into an idol more useful to them. Some have said Jesus was black; others that He was a woman and still others that He was of Asian lineage and on and on. Salvation is of the Jews and Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Period.
All of these cults which I have personally encountered resort to changing the NAME of Jesus randomly picking from one of the Hebrew variations of Gods name, such as Yahweh and append other names or phrases. It is a lie; they made it up. Many of these heretics appeal to the Greek or Hebrew for a root word when they themselves could not recite even the basic alphabet of these languages. Repeat after me: it is all a smoke screen; a veil of confusion to beguile unstable souls!
For any real student of Scripture, such charlatans are so (willingly?) ignorant of the Word of God that they would be laughable except for one tragic fact. Those who are deceived by them are likely candidates for Hell.
There is no other Messiah, there is no other God, there is no other Saviour and Salvation is not obtainable through any other name. By the way, why would any honest person want to change the Lords name or cast doubt on His deity? A few of these false teachers I suspect have damaged their minds with drugs and are now demon possessed, but the vast majority of them are propagating these lies to gain control of their followers for financial gain.
It's been pointed out before and is worth repeating that Jesus Christ was either God in mans form as He said OR He was a lunatic OR He was the biggest liar and fraud who ever lived. Romans 14:11-12 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Can you imagine a normal man saying "I have power to lay down my life and I have power to take it again?" Do you really think that any sane man would say that He was equal with God the Holy Father? You better think very carefully about who Jesus Christ really is before you come to the wrong conclusion and follow one of the Satanic ministers teaching false doctrine.
You may as well do what's right while you have a choice because the day really is coming when every knee will bow before the Lord and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the father (Phillipians 2:9-11).
I am stating plainly that Jesus the Christ, the Holy One of God was God in the flesh, born of a virgin and that He died willingly for our sins when He had none of His own and that God the Father raised Him from the dead thus giving assurance to all men that Jesus was in fact His Only Begotten Son.
If you don't believe that Jesus was the Messiah and you trust any other means to save your soul, you will indeed die in your sins and be forever separated from God. It is my hope and prayer you will not be so foolish. If you have any doubts about your Salvation or your standing with our Holy God click here to read this and accept Him now.
In Luke 4:34 a man in the synagogue with an unclean spirit crys out "Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God." The maniac of Gadara of Matthew 8:29 who is infested with a Legion of devils echos "What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God?"
The Bible is very clear that Jesus Christ is God. So who do you say that He is? Make very sure you understand that no matter what you answer, those words will be recalled at your Judgment unless your sins are forgiven by the one whom you have sinned against.
Acts 4
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
John 11
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
John 14
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then , Show us the Father?
John 8
57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Luke 1
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
